Hybrid Power Management

As a hybrid inverter, this Sunsynk unit intelligently balances energy from solar panels, battery banks, the electrical grid, and even a generator. Its continuous output of 8 000 W makes it capable of powering significant household loads — from lighting and appliances to large motors — without the need for multiple devices. In backup scenarios, the inverter can deliver up to 8 800 W for short bursts and handle surge loads of up to 12 000 W, helping to start heavier loads like pumps or air conditioners.

The inverter supports multiple operating modes, including grid-tied, off-grid, battery-only, and full hybrid operation, enabling flexibility for different system designs and user preferences. With automatic switching between modes and a transfer time typically ≤ 10 ms, essential loads remain powered with minimal interruption during outages.

Battery compatibility covers both lead-acid and lithium-ion chemistries, with a nominal 48 Vdc operating range (often ~40 V–60 V). The built-in battery charger can handle high charge/discharge currents (often around 190 A), making it efficient for rapid energy cycling and extended backup durations.

Smart Monitoring & Safety

One standout feature is the Wi-Fi logger included as standard, enabling remote monitoring and control via mobile apps like SolarMan. Users can track system performance, battery state, incoming solar power, and grid interactions in real time.
