Performance and Output
With a 512 Wh LiFePO₄ (lithium iron phosphate) battery, the RIVER 2 Max strikes a balance between portability and usable capacity. LiFePO₄ chemistry is celebrated for long battery life and stability, offering more than 3 000 cycles at 80 % capacity, which translates to about 10 years of regular use before notable capacity decline.
On the power side, the unit delivers a 500 W continuous AC output capable of running a wide range of everyday devices — from laptops and phones to small appliances like TVs, fans, or coffee makers. With the X-Boost technology enabled, the inverter can surge up to 1 000 W, allowing it to handle even higher-demand appliances (within limits) when necessary.
Fast Charging & Multiple Inputs
A key strength of the RIVER 2 Max is its fast charging capability — it can recharge from 0 % to full in about 60 minutes when connected to AC mains power. That’s significantly faster than many competing portable stations and ideal when time is limited before setting out or during a break in your plans.
In addition to wall charging, the RIVER 2 Max supports up to 220 W solar input, making it well-suited for solar panels and sustainable off-grid charging. Other charging options include car charging and USB-C, giving flexibility for travel or emergency situations where mains power isn’t immediately available.
